The collaboration with Vuja Dé was centered on the deconstruction and reassembly of existing items to deliver novel visual experiences. The objective was to seamlessly integrate details such as pockets, buttons, and zippers with precision cutting techniques, resulting in designs that are both distinct and harmonious. This process involved a meticulous analysis of each item, followed by numerous simulations of potential cut designs to identify the optimal configuration.

The cut lines were reworked in a manner to resemble the “Divisor” lines from Vuja Dé which were reinterpreted with a “Dart” construction by Cmmawear.

The existing pockets were integrated with the darting lines to evolve the torn details into deliberate design elements.

Each color-way featured distinct detailing to offer variation, and the hardware - including snap buttons, collars, and linings - was replaced to improve both durability and visual cohesion.

In short, we kept the vintage outer shell as it can be only treated by time and replaced all the linings and hardwares to bring a modern/luxury in contrast to the outer shell.
